vegetables, beef stew meat in a pyrex casserole, covered with a pie crust

Recipe Ingredients for pasty pie

592 grams Russet Potato
1.5 cup, chopped Carrots
1 cup, cubes(140 g) Rutabagas
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
16 oz raw Beef Stew Meat
1 crust Pillsbury Pie Crusts All Ready Rolled
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for pasty pie

Slice the potatos and carrots. Cube the rutabaga and chop the onion. Place All the Vegetables in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Do the same with the stew meat. Combine all the ingredients into a 2-3 quart pyrex casserole dish. Roll out one ready made pie crust and place over the mixture. Pack the edges of the pie crust against the side of the Pyrex casserole as you would a regular pie. Bake one hour at 350 degrees or until the crust is a golden brown.
