Old fashioned miners' favorite take on the cornish pasty.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasties

16 oz Beef, Top Sirloin
180 grams Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
2 oz All Vegetable Shortening
2 cup Potatoes, Baked, Flesh And Skin
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions

Recipe Directions for Pasties

Mix flour with shortening and 3 tablespoons ice cold water. Once mixed, let sit for 20 minutes in refrigerator. Grind the sirloin. Cook in a pan. Add diced potatoes ande diced onions. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Roll out dough into 6 circles. Add filling and seal. Bake at 375 for 45-60 minutes, until filling is done.
