An easy vegetarian meal that is quick to put together with frozen or canned marinara sauce. Store-bought roasted peppers can be used for extra convenience.

Recipe Ingredients for Paste with Roasted Peppers and Onion

8 ounces spaghetti
2 cups marinara sauce
2 peppers, cored
1 onion, sliced
8 ounces part-skim mozzarella

Recipe Directions for Paste with Roasted Peppers and Onion

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.

  2. Roast peppers and onions under broiler until they are slightly blackened (onions will likely need to be removed before peppers). This takes about 8 minutes.

  3. Put peppers in a bowl covered in plastic wrap for ten minutes. This makes them easier to peel. Cut them into the desired size.

  4. Heat marinara sauce.

  5. Combine all.
