Recipe Ingredients for Pastalaya

5 unit
1 1/4 quart chicken broth
32 oz
1 lb spaghetti
3 Tablespoon flour
2 Medium onions
1 Bell Pepper
2 tsp garlic
10 oz
1 ? Stick
8 oz

Recipe Directions for Pastalaya

Boil Chicken until tender. D-Bone Chicken, setting the broth aside for later use. Use a heavy black iron pot or thick magnalite pot. Sauté sausage, onions, bell peppers, garlic, and green onions. Remove vegetables and sausage leaving drippings in pot. (Add butter if not enough drippings) Add flour to make a dark roux. Replace vegetables and sausage along with chicken broth into pot. Slowly add Rotel and Tomato sauce. Season with Tony?s, Salt and Pepper or (Swamp Dust). Bring to boil. Add spaghetti . Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Don?t over stir. Cook until all broth is absorbed. Serves 8-10 *Note ? adding tomato sauce absorbs the starch in the spaghetti.
