My entire family's extremely busy with a lot of heavy stuff at the moment. I took it upon myself to randomly make dinner tonight without using any guidelines (aside from a brief glance at the Joy of Cooking for vodka amounts) and it turned out DELICIOUS. So, I've officially proved I can cook. HAH.

Recipe Ingredients for The Pasta Which Proves I Can Cook

250 g whole wheat fusilli
1/2 zucchini
1/2 green pepper
1 cup organic diced tomatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
3/10 kg chicken breast
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp chili flakes
2 pinches sea salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
3 shots vodka
1/2 cup half & half

Recipe Directions for The Pasta Which Proves I Can Cook

  1. Chop the veggies and chicken (seperately, dur) and sprinkle with sea salt and oregano.

  2. Heat 1-2 tbsp of olive oil in a pan.

  3. Add chicken and cook until perfect. Right before it's done cooking, add half a clove of garlic. Remove from heat.

  4. Add diced tomatoes to pan. Cook until some of the juice is gone and add raw veggies. Cook until al dente. Add vodka. Simmer for 6-8 minutes.

  5. Stir in cream; cook until heated through.

  6. Add chicken back to sauce. Add ground pepper, oregano, chili flakes and sea salt to taste.

  7. Meanwhile, boil whole wheat pasta in a pot with a pinch of salt.
