Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Walnut-Basil Pesto

1 1/4 cups fresh basil, packed
1/2 cup walnuts
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes, crushed
8 oz pasta
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Walnut-Basil Pesto

  1. Puree all ingredients in the food processor, except the pasta.

  2. Cook pasta, add it to the pesto and toss.
