Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with shrimp and summer squash and peppers

1 lb pasta
1/2 lb shrimp
1 squash
1 zucchini
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 stick butter
3 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
1 cup light cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Pasta with shrimp and summer squash and peppers

  1. Boil water for pasta.

  2. Meanwhile, chop zucchini, summer squash, pepper, onion. Mince garlic.

  3. While the pasta boils, heat 1/2 stick butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions, garlic and cook until transparent. Add shrimp. Cook until opaque. Add rest of vegetables. Cook a few more minutes, until they just start to become tender. Add light cream and seasonings. Reduce sauce, add parmesan and serve over drained pasta.
