You can use regular tomatoes in place of cherry tomatoes if you look. Good served at room tempurature or warm.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Sauteed Tomatoes, Olives and Artichokes

1 tsp olive oil
2 cups tomatoes,cherry,halved
1/2 c kalamata olives, pitted and cut in half
14 oz artichoke hearts, drained
12 oz pasta,penne,cooked
1/2 c basil, fresh, chopped
1 1/4 oz (1/3 c)Asiago cheese, shredded
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Sauteed Tomatoes, Olives and Artichokes

  1. Cook pasta per diretions. Drain and rinse.

  2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tomatoes, olives and artichokes. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

  3. Place pasta in large bowl. Add tomato mixture, basil, cheese, salt and pepper; toss well.
