Recipe Ingredients for Pasta and Sauteed Chicken and Vegetables

4 pounds chicken, white breast meat
1/2 pound pasta
1 small onion, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 medium zucchini, cut into small cubes
4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 salt and pepper

Recipe Directions for Pasta and Sauteed Chicken and Vegetables

In a large bowl place chicken and enough cold water to cover; let stand 3 mins. drain. Cut chicken in half lengthwise. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. In heavy10inch skillet over medium-high heat in hot butter cook chicken 5 minutes, stirring; remove and set aside. In pan drippings cook onion 5 minutes, until tender. Add chicken, tomato, and basil. Cover and cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredents. Cover and cook 5 minutes more until chicken and vegetables are tender. Toss with pasta. Serves 4
