Tasty pasta sauce with lots of veggies. Works great over pasta or rice

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta sauce with veggies

25 1/2 oz. Pasta Sauce Tomato Basil
1/2 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 red onion
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
8 oz mushrooms
1 small zucchini
1 small yellow squash
1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Pasta sauce with veggies

  1. Heat pasta sauce over med-low heat until simmering

  2. In a separate pan, heat oil over med-high heat until hot.

  3. Add onion & garlic and cook until onion softens slightly.

  4. Add peppers, mushrooms, squash & any other veggies you are using.

  5. Sautee until all vegetables have softened slightly.

  6. Salt & Pepper to taste

  7. Add to pasta sauce

  8. Serve over choice of rice, pasta or potato.
