Pasta sauce with Tomato and Arugula

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta sauce with Tomato and Arugula

15 oz diced tomatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups arugula
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Pasta sauce with Tomato and Arugula

  1. Cook tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper over medium heat for 2 minutes until tender.

  2. Add the arugula and basil and cook until wilted, about 30 seconds.

  3. Stir in butter and melt.

  4. Add to pasta.

  5. Serve with fresh basil.
