A delicious and filling vegitarian pasta sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Sauce

12 oz Organic Paste
1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
6 oz Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms Packaged
12 oz Water
1 1/2 cup, chopped Onions
12 oz Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles
2 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
2 tsp Parsley, Dried
9 4/5 grams Oregano
3 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Pasta Sauce

  1. Chop the tomato, onion, and mushrooms to the desired size.

  2. Fry the onions and mushrooms in a little bit of water. About a tablespoon will work.

  3. At the same time, combine the tomato paste and water in a sauce pan. Heat on low.

  4. After about 5 minutes at the tomatoes to the onions and mushrooms mix.

  5. When the onions and mushrooms are about 2/3 cooked add the whole mixture to the sauce pan. Add the spices as well.

  6. Simmer covered, on medium for about 60 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.

  7. Add the ground crumbles. If so desired add sugar. Most people are used to canned sauce, which is much less tart, and more sweet, then homemade sauce. Simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occansionally.

  8. Serve immediatly or cool to room tempature and freeze.

  9. Serving size:a little les then 1/2 cup. Servings: 8-12
