Recipe Ingredients for Pasta sauce w/out meat

850 grams pasta
1 small tomato
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 carrot
8 mushrooms
500 grams pasta sauce
500 ml water

Recipe Directions for Pasta sauce w/out meat

  1. Dice and fry onion, mushroom and tomato.

  2. Dice the garlic, add the garlic when the onion is translucent.

  3. Fry garlic for 1 minute and then add grated carrot, pasta sauce and water.

  4. Put a pot of water on to boil, immediately after all ingredients are added to sauce mix.

  5. Stir sauce occasionally to avoid burning.

  6. When the water is boiling add the pasta and 3 tablespoons of salt.

  7. Pasta is cooked when it is no longer "chewy" in texture.

  8. Drain pasta and add the sauce to it.

  9. Stir through and serve.
