Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with sage and porcini mushrooms

1 1/5 oz porcini mushrooms
1 lb portabello mushrooms
1 lb chicken breast
3 cloves garlic
6 oz Shells Medium Dry
4 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 cup whole milk
1 cup vegetable broth
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh sage

Recipe Directions for Pasta with sage and porcini mushrooms

  1. boil hot water, pour about 1 cup over porcini mushroom into microwave safe bowl, heat in microwave until tender, about 1 minute. save juices and chop mushrooms. make sure to rinse well prior

  2. Cut chicken into bite size pieces, saute in 1 tbsp oil and 1 clove garlic until cooked through, set aside.

  3. heat rest of oil in pan, brown portabello mushrooms, about 5 minutes, add porcini mushrooms, sage, garlic, milk, and broth, allow to simmer and sauce to thicken. Add chicken.

  4. Cook pasta according to box directions.

  5. Toss pasta with sauce, seperate into bowls, top with cheese.
