Rich pasta sauce, for a treat, not to be eaten all the time... good for early dinners and for if you run later at night or if you are a morning runner

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta

1 small tomato
1 medium onion
6 mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
500 g beef
500 g lamb cutlets
500 g pasta sauce
10 g basil
1 kg pasta

Recipe Directions for Pasta

  1. Dice all vegetables

  2. Fry meat while dicing the vegies

  3. Take the meat out of the frying pan and put into a large saucepan

  4. Fry the vegetables

  5. Put the vegetable in to the saucepan

  6. Pour the pasta sauce in the sauce pan along with 2 jars full of water

  7. Bring to the boil

  8. Simmer for 1 3/4 hours

  9. Take the meat out and put in a casserole dish with the lid on to keep warm

  10. Turn up the heat and thicken the sauce for 15-30 minutes until desired thickness has been reached

  11. Put a pot of water on

  12. Bring to the boil

  13. Put the pasta in and cook for 15 minutes

  14. Serve
