Whole grain pasta with a sauce that contains fresh veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Putanesca

13 1/4 ounces Healthy Harvest Linguine
24 ounces Marinara Tomato and Onion
4 ounces of red bell pepper
4 ounces white mushrooms
5 ounces of fresh spinach
2 ounces of red wine
20 ounces of lean ground beef (uncooked)
2 serving benefiber powder

Recipe Directions for Pasta Putanesca

  1. Cook pasta to desired firmness

  2. In a deep saute pan, brown ground beef and drain off fat

  3. Add the jar of pasta sauce

  4. Add the wine

  5. Coarsely chop red bell pepper and add to simmering sauce

  6. Coarsely chop mushrooms and add to simmering sauce

  7. Add a bag of fresh baby spinach and allow to wilt into the sauce

  8. Pour the sauce over the pasta, toss, and enjoy!
