Broken out into 12 servings so you can have either 1/6th of a recipe as a side dish or 1/4 of a recipe as a meal. Or just a little bit for lunch or snack. It is excellent. Serve over pasta. Rotini is best.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Primavera (sauce only)

1/4 cup water
2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
9 ounces frozen french cut green beans
1 cup sweet red pepper, coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
12 ounces evaporated milk
4 teaspoons corn starch
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Pasta Primavera (sauce only)

  1. In medium saucepan combine water, mushrooms, frozen green beans, red pepper, garlic, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer fro 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Do not drain.

  2. Stir together milk and cornstarch; stir into vegetable mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Stir in cheese until melted.

  3. Serve over cooked pasta
