A really good one dish meal which is easy to make. The fennel gives it a little different taste.

Recipe Ingredients for PASTA WITH PORK AND BROCCOLI

12 oz Penne pasta
2 tbsp. Olive oil
6 garlic cloves, crushed
1 lb Pork tenderloins, sliced
2 lb Broccoli
1/4 tsp red pepper, crushed
1 tbsp fennel seeds, crushed
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 cup Chicken stock or broth
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for PASTA WITH PORK AND BROCCOLI

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente.

  2. Drain well and set aside. Meanwhile, in a large deep skillet, heat the oil. Add the garlic and cook over moderately high heat until golden. Add pork and cook 5 to 7 minutes until no pink shows. Add the broccoli, crushed red pepper, crushed fennel seeds, salt and pepper; cover and steam for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the chicken stock and cook over high heat until the sauce reduces slightly, about 3 minutes.

  3. Add the pasta to the skillet and toss gently. Serve immediately, sprinkled with the cheese.
