Tomatoes, garlic and basil, tossed with pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Pomodore

2 tbsp garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
32 ounces canned diced tomatoes (no salt added)
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup fresh chopped basil
2 tbsp capers
12 oz cooked pasta

Recipe Directions for Pasta Pomodore

  1. Sautee garlic in olive oil. Drain tomatoes and add.

  2. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper and simmer. Add chopped basil and capers.

  3. Cook pasta and drain. Add drained pasta to tomato mixture and toss.
