Creamy gorgonzola cheese sauce with mushrooms and green peas

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Gorgonzola Cheese and Mushrooms

1 pound Pasta
1 pound mushrooms
14 ounces Gorgonzola cheese
2 1/2 cups 2% milk
3 tablespoons Light Butter
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
2 cups frozen green peas

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Gorgonzola Cheese and Mushrooms

  1. Boil Pasta

  2. Melt butter, add flour and whisk for two mins. Add milk and bring to simmer for two mins, whisking the whole time. Remove from heat, add all cheese and whisk until melted. Cover and keep warm.

  3. Saute mushrooms in oil for about 10 mins until golden brown, add green peas.

  4. Put pasta in a big bowl, add sauce, mushrooms and serve.
