Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Fresh Vegetables in Garlic Salt

3 serving (Blue Bonnet) 68% Vegtable Oil Margarine
1.5 medium Carrots
1 medium Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
1 small Onions
2 serving (Derlea Foods) Garlic, Minced CDA
2 fl. oz (Beatrice) 2% Partly Skimmed Milk
0.13 tsp Pepper, Black
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.33 serving (Knorr) Bovril Chicken CDA

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Fresh Vegetables in Garlic Salt

  1. Make broth using bovril and 1/4 cup water

  2. In large saucepan in 1 inch boiling wather, steam sliced carrots and zucchini until crisp tender

  3. Remove, drain and set aside

  4. Melt butter, saute butter, onion and garlic until tender

  5. Gradually stir in broth, cream, salt, tarragon and pepper

  6. Simmer 5 minutes until sauce is slightly thickened

  7. Add vegetables, heat through.

  8. Spoon vegetables and sauce over cooked pasta
