Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with fresh tomato and basil

2 oz whole wheat penne pasta
1 large tomato
1 clove garlic
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup diced yellow squash
1/4 cup reduced fat feta cheese
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Pasta with fresh tomato and basil

  1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Add squash when the pasta is about halfway done cooking.

  2. Dice tomato, mince garlic, and cut basil into ribbons. Drain pasta, and mix all ingredients together.
