Recipe Ingredients for pasta a la florentine

4 cup whole wheat macaroni
2 cup tomato sauce
6 cup spinach, chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 tbsp black olives, sliced
3 tbsp green onions
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp fresh basil

Recipe Directions for pasta a la florentine

  1. cook pasta.

  2. cook green onion and garlic in olive oil until tender.

  3. add basil, olives and spinach until tender.

  4. add tomato sauce and let simmer for 5 min.

  5. pour on pasta.
