A hearty soup. I used Emeril's tomato basil sauce, which is about 20 calories less per serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Fagiole

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, sliced
3 stalks celery, sliced
24 oz diced tomatoes
15 oz cannellini
15 oz kidney beans
32 oz beef broth
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
4 oz dry ditalini
25 oz marinara sauce

Recipe Directions for Pasta Fagiole

  1. Brown beef and onion

  2. Place all ingredients except pasta into the crock pot and cook on low 8-10 hours.

  3. Add cooked pasta right before serving.
