Recipe Ingredients for Pasta e Fagioli

72 g great northern beans
2 ounces no yolks
65 g (1/2 cup) chopped onion
47 g (1/3 cup) chopped celery
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp oregano
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp cilantro
1 g bay leaf

Recipe Directions for Pasta e Fagioli

Place a saucepan over low heat and add oil. Wait until oil runs freely around the bottom of the pan and add the onion, celery, and garlic. Cook about 10 minutes, or until very soft and almost paste like. Add in the hot sauce, oregano, and tomatoes with liquid. Bring to a simmer and add beans. Simmer 10 minutes, then add vegetable broth and water. Cook for 1 hour with lid tilted, stirring every five minutes or so. Add pasta, cook 10 minutes more, remove from heat and serve.
