Pasta and bean soup with italian sausage

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta e fagiole

1 tbsp olive oil
2 onions
4 garlic cloves
8 oz italian sausage
8 oz pasta
15 oz cannelini beans
30 oz low sodium chicken broth
2 quarts water

Recipe Directions for Pasta e fagiole

  1. Saute onion and garlic in oil until translucent.

  2. Add sausage and brown. Remove excess fat.

  3. Add broth and water, along with beans and simmer until pasta is cooked, 12 to 15 minutes.

  4. Serve with chopped parsley, fresh black pepper, and fresh grated parmesan cheese.
