Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Creamy Leeks

13 1/2 oz Whole Grain Rotini
6 oz canned peas
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, diced
4 Leeks, chopped
2 Plum Tomatoes, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp tarragon
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Whipping Cream

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Creamy Leeks

  1. Cook the Pasta according to directions, adding the peas in the last two minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat the oil.

  3. Add the Chicken, brown.

  4. Add all ingredients except cream. Cook until veggies are soft.

  5. Add cream, heat through, toss with pasta and serve.
