Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Carbonara

4 tblsp butter
1/8 cup olive oil
2 tblsp minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
6 oz canadian bacon
3 oz bacon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2/3 cup wine
1 1/2 cups carrots
1 1/2 cups peas
3/4 pound pasta
2/3 cup parmesan cheese
4 eggs
1 cup half and half

Recipe Directions for Pasta Carbonara

  1. cook pasta, add veggies for last two minutes

  2. saute onion, garlic, oil

  3. add both bacons

  4. saute for two minutes

  5. add wine and herbs

  6. saute for three minutes

  7. add half/half

  8. cook three minutes

  9. toss pasta and veggie misture with egg mixture

  10. add cream/bacon/ionion mixture with parmesan chess

  11. toss and serve
