Grate romano to start with.It should make about 1/2 cup of Romano. Makes 4 1 cup servings.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Carbonara

16 oz Spaghetti
3 oz Pancetta
5 large Egg, Whole
2 oz Romano Cheese

Recipe Directions for Pasta Carbonara

  1. Cook pasta. Cook pancetta in a little oil til golden brown. Set aside.

  2. Beat eggs. Add 1/4 c romano, 1 t black pepper.

  3. When pasta is cooked, drain it and stir in the egg mix. Toss in remaining 1/4 c grated romano and pancetta. Serve immediately.
