Creamy pasta carbonara with bacon

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Carbonara (with bacon)

500 g pasta
300 ml milk
20 g margarine
20 g flour
250 g cheese
100 g bacon

Recipe Directions for Pasta Carbonara (with bacon)

  1. Cook pasta

  2. Melt margarine

  3. Mix flour with margarine

  4. Slowly add milk to roux, constantly stirring

  5. Remove roux from heat

  6. Grate cheese and mix into roux

  7. Cook and dice bacon

  8. Add bacon to cheese sauce

  9. Drain pasta, place in large bowl and add cheese and bacon sauce
