Recipe Ingredients for Pasta with Capers, Garlic and Bread Crumbs

2/3 cup bread crumbs (preferably homemade)
3/4 lb. pasta (preferred campanelle or short spiral pasts)
1/2 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
6 tablespoons capers, drained, finely chopped
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Pasta with Capers, Garlic and Bread Crumbs

  1. Cooked pasta in salted water.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over moderately low heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring just until pale golden, about 2 minutes. Stir in capers and bread crumbs and cook stirring until bread crumbs and garlic are golden, about 1 to 2 minutes. Drain pasta and transfer to a large bowl. Pour sauce over pasta and toss to combine. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
