Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Bake

1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic
28 oz reduced sodium chopped tomatoes
14 oz italian style canned tomatoes, chopped
4 links sausage (chicken), chopped
4 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp oregano
1/2 cup red wine
1/2 pound macaroni
1/4 cup gruyere
1/4 cup parmesan

Recipe Directions for Pasta Bake

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion, pepper, sausage and garlic. Cook until onions soft and sausage begins to brown.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  3. Add chopped tomatoes, parsley, oregano, rosemary and red wine to skillet. Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Combine pasta and sauce in large casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
