Inspired by Skinny Taste's zucchini lasagna

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Bake

14 oz Smart Taste Rotini
8 g ground beef
1/2 lb hot italian sausage
15 oz fat free ricotta
8 oz shredded mozzarella
678 g Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 onion
2 T basil
1 egg
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
1/4 t pepper

Recipe Directions for Pasta Bake

cook pasta/ brown sausage and beef - drain / saute onion about 5 minutes in same pan / add homemade spaghetti sauce to pan and stir in meat / simmer while pasta cooks / mix ricotta, basil, egg, 1/4 c parm, pepper and set aside / drain pasta and put back in pan / stir in sauce - in a 9x13 pan spread half of pasta mixture / spread all of ricotta mixture in a single layer / spread on remaining pasta mixture / cover with mozz cheese and sprinkle on remaining 1/4c parm / cover with sprayed aluminum foil / bake at 350 convection for 30 minutes / remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese browns / let sit for 10 minutes before slicing
