Recipe Ingredients for Pasta Bake with Chicken Sausage

16 oz Trader Joe's High Fiber Penne
5 serving Trader Joe's Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage
2 small Onions
0.5 large Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
0.5 large Squash, Summer, All Varieties
6 serving Tomato, Basil
3 clove Garlic
1.5 cup Spinach
5 oz Provolone Cheese
5 oz Reduced Fat Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
0.5 cup Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Plain
1.5 tsp Seasoning Blend
4.5 grams Tomato Basil Garlic Salt-Free Seasoning Blend
1 cup Ricotta, Whole Milk Cheese

Recipe Directions for Pasta Bake with Chicken Sausage

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook the pasta according to package directions.

  2. Sautee the onion in a little bit of olive oil or nonstick cooking spray for about two minutes. Add the other veggies until slightly softened, and then finally add the garlic.

  3. Mix together pasta, sauce, veggies, and ricotta, then pour into a 9x13 baking dish (depending on how many veggies you use, you might need a bigger or additional dishes).

  4. Top pasta with mozzarella and provolone blend.

  5. Mix bread crumbs with Mrs. Dash seasonings and sprinkle on top of cheese; not a ton, just enough to make crispy after it's baked.

  6. Cover with foil and bake until cheese is melted.

  7. Enjoy your carbalicious feast.
