Pasta with sausage, mushroom, cream sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Pasta alla Norcina

8 oz Penne Dry
8 oz Sausage, Italian, Pork, Cooked
0.5 tbsp Olive Oil
3 clove Garlic
1 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping
8 pieces raw Organic Cremini Mushrooms Packaged
0.5 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 glass (3.5 fl oz) Wine, Table, White

Recipe Directions for Pasta alla Norcina

Brown sausage and remove from pan,drain. Boil pasta according to package instructions. Saute mushrooms and garlic until just beginning to brown. Add wine to deglaze pan and reduce by half. Add sausage and cream and simmer sauce. When pasta is cooked, add to pan with 1/2 cup pasta cooking water to thicken sauce. Stir and reduce to a thick consistency and serve.
