Recipe Ingredients for Pasta ala Trapanese

1 pound whole wheat spaghetti
2 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup almonds, slivered, toasted
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 clove garlic
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbs capers

Recipe Directions for Pasta ala Trapanese

  1. Bring 1 gallon of water with a tablespoon of salt to a boil. Add pasta and cook al dente.

  2. Place sauce ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth. Pour over cooked pasta and serve.
