This is made with dried pasilla chilies.

Recipe Ingredients for Pasilla Chilie Soup

6 cups water
4 diced green peppers
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 red onion
4 cloves garlic
8 ounces black beans
2 roma tomatoes
2 cups cooked white rice
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Recipe Directions for Pasilla Chilie Soup

  1. Soak dried chilies in hot water until soft

  2. Sautee onion and garlic and tomatoes until soft.

  3. Chop chilies and add to sautee

  4. bring chili water to boil

  5. add sauteed ingredients all others to water
