Recipe Ingredients for Party Pickles!

8 cups sliced pickling cucumbers
1 tbsp salt (sea salt or pickling salt)
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp celery seed

Recipe Directions for Party Pickles!

  1. Toss the sliced cucumbers with the salt in a large bowl and let sit for one hour or more.

  2. Combine sugar and vinegar and stir until sugar dissolves.

  3. Drain the cucumbers and combine with syrup, celery seed, and onions.

  4. Refrigerate in a covered bowl for at least 8 hours to overnight or up to several days, turning occasionally.
