Recipe Ingredients for Parmesan Crusted Tofu

3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
12 ounces extra firm tofu
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Parmesan Crusted Tofu

  1. Slice the tofu into 6 rectangles.

  2. Mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan, pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a shallow plate.

  3. Dunk each piece of tofu in the beaten egg and then press into the bread crumbs. Make sure each piece is nicely coated with crumbs.

  4. Place each piece on a parchment-lined baking sheet and repeat with the remaining pieces.

  5. Bake in a 375 degree oven until both sides are golden, flipping once along the way.

  6. Slice into strips and serve.
