Chicken sauteed in olive oil covered with parmesan then baked.

Recipe Ingredients for Parmesan Crusted Chicken

1/4 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
16 oz boneless skinless chicken breast
1 egg
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Parmesan Crusted Chicken

  1. Mix flour and garlic powder in bowl.

  2. In second bowl beat egg.

  3. Parmesan cheese goes in a third bowl.

  4. Coat chicken in flour, then egg, roll in cheese.

  5. In skillet, brown chicken in oil on both sides.

  6. Transfer to shallow 1-qt. baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Drizzle with lemon juice.

  7. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until juices run clear.
