Recipe Ingredients for Parmesan Corn Chowder

2 c water
1/2 c sliced carrots
1/2 c onion, chopped
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp pepper
14 oz cream-style corn
2 c potatos, diced
1/2 c celery, sliced
1/2 c butter
1 tsp salt
2 c milk
1 1/2 c parmesan cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Parmesan Corn Chowder

In large saucepan combine water, carrots, onion, potatos, and celery. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover andsimmer 12-15 minutes or until vegetables are tender (don't drain). Meanwhile, in small saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth; gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thick. Stuir mixture into vegetable mixture. Add corn and Parmesan cheese. Cook 10 minutes longer or until heated through.
