Flavorful chicken - thanks to the spices and Parmesan cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Parmesan Chicken

1/2 cup buttermilk
2 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
1 pound chicken breast, boneless
1 T flour
1 tsp flour
1 tsp salt
1 dash of garlic powder
1 dash of onion powder
1/8 tsp ground pepper
3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
3 T vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Parmesan Chicken

  1. Pound chicken breasts to 1/4" thickness.

  2. In small bowl, combine milk and cheese.

  3. Sprinkle chicken pieces with flour and seasonings, then dip into buttermilk mixture, coating both sides and using the entire mixture.

  4. Put the chicken on a sheet of wax paper or on a plate. Dip chicken into bread crumbs, turning to coat both sides with crumbs.

  5. In skillet, heat oil, add chicken, turning once until browned on both sides.
