A quick and easy chicken recipe to build a weeknight dinner around. You could use two 4 oz. breast halves or 8 one oz. tenderloins.

Recipe Ingredients for parmesan chicken

8 oz. boneless skinless chicken breast
3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for parmesan chicken

  1. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.

  2. Lay chicken pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes for tenderloins, and about 35 minutes for breast halves, depending on your oven.
