Recipe Ingredients for Paprika Pork

675 g pork fillets
2 tbs sunflower oil
25 g butter
1 onion, chopped
1 tbs paprika
25 g plain flour
300 ml chicken stock
240 g dry sherry
115 g mushrooms, sliced
1 salt and pepper
150 ml Sour Cream

Recipe Directions for Paprika Pork

  1. cut the prok into 4cm cubes. Heat the oil and butter in a large sausepan. Add the pork and cook over a medium heat, stirring, for 5 minutes or until browned, Transfer to a plate with a slotted spoon.

  2. Add the chopped onion to the saucepan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in the paprika and flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in the stock and bring to the boil, constantly stirring.

  3. Return the prok to the saucepan, add the sherry and sliced mushrooms and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes, or until the prok is tender. Stir in the soured cream and serve.
