Recipe Ingredients for Papaya Salad

2 cups papaya, cubed
1/2 English cucumber, quartered and sliced
2 tbs. lime juice
1 tsp. honey
1/4 cup sweet onion
2 tbs. red pepper, minced
1 tbs. cilantro, minced

Recipe Directions for Papaya Salad

  1. Seed and peel a Formosa papaya and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.

  2. Squeeze a lime for its juice and mix with honey. Add to papaya and stir to coat.

  3. Add cucumber, onion, red pepper and cilantro and allow to marry for 1/2 hour. serve at room temperature.
