My grandfathers favorite garden fresh meal. Best made with the tiniest potatos and freshest peas you can get. Also we go a little heavy on the scallions and chives, 2 scallions and 1 tbsp of chives would be gentler on sensitive palates.

Recipe Ingredients for Papa's Favorite

29 oz Assorted Fingerling Potato Bag
12 oz Peas, Green
2 cup Milk, Producer, Fluid, 3.7% Milkfat
4 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
3 tbsp chopped Chives
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Papa's Favorite

  1. Scrub potatoes

  2. (if peas are not shelled shell enough to equal 12 oz)

  3. Mince onions and chives

  4. Simmer potatoes in milk until almost tender.

  5. Add remaining ingredients and cook until tender.

  6. Serve in bowls with a little milk over the top.
