Recipe Ingredients for Panzanella

6 cups bread
2 tomato
1 cucumber
3 peppers
1/2 red onion
1/4 cup basil
1 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp mustard
3 tbls champagne vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbs capers

Recipe Directions for Panzanella

  1. vinaigrette"

  2. whisk together the following ingredients

  3. 1 tsp garlic

  4. 1/2 tsp dijon mustard

  5. 3 tbs champange vinegar

  6. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  7. 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper

  9. cube bread and saute in 3 tbls olive oil, set aside

  10. coursely chop:

  11. green peppers, seeded cucumber, tomatos and bell peppers (red, orange, yellow)

  12. thinly slice red onion.

  13. Chiffonade 20 basil leaves

  14. add all to large salad bowl, add toasted bread, add vinaigrette.

  15. Enjoy
