Indian rice pancakes made from long grain brown rice. White rice is usually used but to make them healthier I've chosen brown rice. Can be eaten with your choice of any flavors chutney or hummus.

Recipe Ingredients for Panpale

1 cup long grain brown rice
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Panpale

  1. Soak the rice in water for at least 2 hours to over night.

  2. Place rice with water in the blender with salt, egg and grind until a smooth batter forms.

  3. Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and pour batter evenly for 10 servings.
