Can also be used for boneless chicken breasts, baked in 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Panko Bread Crumbs & Macadamia Crusted Tilapia

1/2 cup macadamia nuts, finely diced
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup flour
6 fish fillets, Tilapia
2 tbsp canola oil

Recipe Directions for Panko Bread Crumbs & Macadamia Crusted Tilapia

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine macadamia nuts & panko bread crumbs; set aside.

  2. In another shallow bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt & pepper; set aside.

  3. In a 3rd shallow bowl, add flour; set aside.

  4. Dredge each fish fillet in flour; dip in egg mixture; then coat in panko bread crumbs & nuts.

  5. Saute in 2 tbsp canola oil in large heavy skillet over medium high heat until done. Don't overcook.
