Pancakes mixed with a cup of whole wheat flour.

Recipe Ingredients for Pancakes

1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour
2 cups Hiland Buttermilk
2 large Eggs, Whole
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Sugars, Granulated
1/2 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Pancakes

  1. Beat Eggs until frothy and stiff

  2. Mix together eggs, buttermilk and vanilla

  3. Sift Wheat Flour two times

  4. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Mix in wheat flour.

  5. Create a well in center of dry ingredients. Pour wet ingredients into the well and mix gently. There should be a few lumps. Do not over mix.

  6. Heat skillet to 350 degrees, grease with a little canola oil to avoid sticking.
